Research Inflatable Knit
Textile design
Research in collaboration with Sarena Huizinga
A study on textile-controlled inflation.
Starting from the postulate that knitted fabrics present structural and shapeable qualities suitable for air deformation, the aim is to use knitting as a tool to explore and challenge its technical limitations in order to discover new application purposes suitable for industrial processes.

In collaboration with Textiel Lab I explore air structures as a method to shape and extend these 2 dimensional flat textiles into a 3 dimensional form.
