Where Knitwear meets digital.
In collaboration with Maja Bay digital design related we have produced knitted plushies that are huggable and soft version of sextoys sold by an online sextoy retailer.
The plushies are approachable, fun and playful way of relating to toys that otherwise carry a lot of stigma. In this project, they are presented as part of a pop-up store for a brand, a Klubhouse that is meant to engage people with the body, and exist as a space for open conversation.
In relation to 3d softwares, we used the medium knitwear to translate physically the digital language of the meshes into a textile piece that would be applied on the plushies.
