This stool is a craft-oriented furniture which focuses on joinery techniques.
I’ve shaped it to be light and strong with a soft and sober look to contrast with the rough and hard aspect of the raw material.
The assembly of the seat gives the stool more character, enhancing the junction to balance with traditional hidden connections. A series of sketches and balsa models making helped me define its lines.
